Dexcom ONE+ vs Libre 2 & Libre 2+

Thanks for the quick and thorough response. Just checked and my iPhone is compatible. Is it possible to use clingfilm around the arm and sensor while showering?
I shower every day with it and have never covered it up. I just dab round about it with the towel when drying. I’ve never had one peel off and I understand from the website that you can swim with one on.

I don't think it would affect sensor in any way as long as you don't wrap it too tight causing a compression low. Over the years I've used all sorts of coverings with my Libre sensors, sticky plasters, sports tape, etc. all with no problems. The ONE+ data sheet I've seen states that ONE+ is not only water resistant, but waterproof (The Dexcom ONE+ Sensor is waterproof and may be submerged under 2.4 meters of water for up to 24 hours without failure when properly installed.)
Thanks! I see it's waterproof as a unit. But the connection between the unit and the skin might suffer in the shower, but also 'cause I can sometimes have medication-induced sweaty episodes at night. Anyway, I ordered some adhesive covers, which should allay my fears

Thanks! I did end up going back and ordering some adhesive covers. There are enough in the pack to cover quite a few rounds of testing if they last as long as people seem to say they do.

Recently started a trial of the Libre 2 but it came off 7 days into the trial.

I found that it was really good however I'm looking into the protective adhesives if anyone has any recommendations.

I'm self funding and have been looking into the Dexcom One+ due to the subscription savings but wanted to know if it natively connects and shares info the Health Kit on iOS. With Libre 2 I have to subscribe to the Sweet Dreams app for £2.99 and share info via LibreLinkUp.

Also when purchasing the One+ does it come with the additional adhesive?

Dexcom 1+ can send info to the Apple health app. It also connects to an Apple Watch without third party app. There is an additional adhesive patch in the box. I’ve never had to use it and indeed struggle to peel the sensor off when it is finished. I shower every day with it but haven’t done any swimming since using.

Thank you for clarifying
