Can anyone tell me how long the transmitter lasts for, I know it has a warranty of 6 months? Also once you have the message that the battery is low how long do you have before it dies a death? Thanks very much.

Most people get around 12 months, my first lasted 13 months my second lasted 10 months.

I've not waited until its died completely once I've got the low battery warning, I've heard varying stories on how long it lasts from few days to few weeks.

Thanks Chas really appreciate your reply

Not sure how long my first one lasted as I stopped using it due to cost, but when I tried to use it about 16 months after first start it was gone. The second one blew up from over heating and the third one I am still using, less than six months in.

12 months is the spec lifetime and as you say 6 months is the warranty period.
