Hi All

This is really for all you tekkeys outs there(anoracks as my wife calls me  ). In the new release of the apple iphone software there is provision for connecting a BG meter to it to analyse your results, calculate your carbs and then your insulin levels. Seems very good. Here is the link from you tube. Watch it from about the 4 min mark.

I have the ipod touch, and you can download applications for that and the iphone that lets you record your readings and medicines etc instead of carrying a separate diary. its brill, i use it all the time and it even gives you graphs etc so you can see whats going on!

I've just about got to grips with a camera phone and downloading the pics to the PC.

Hi All
Thanks for the replys, i noticed that this very same point was posted a week or so ago so sorry for the repetition.

Nomi - i have tried some of the apps myself and they are very usefull, i just loved the idea of being able to plug my meter into the phone(Bloke thing) :D i know you can just type your results into the app manually, which is probabily quicker. i had heard that they were looking at ways of having some sort of implant that could send info to the phone or orgher device but dont know if this is true or just a fantasy of some scientist.

Handr - lol you sound just like my wife :D

Just discovering the wonders of the iPhone! i finally gave in and got one

Found a great app in the medical section called "Medical Alert", it's like a medic alert bracelet but on your phone, if you know what I mean! Brings up your details and conditions etc. Their website is http://medicalalert.110mb.com
