Diabetes and depression Medscape article. .

My psych has always said with me, having bipolar and t2 can be very common
 
kinda sorta nothing really new. When a person has a truckload of things to do and worry about that other folks don't even have to think about

then stress levels rise, naturally

and that higher level of stress continues, i.e. it never gets to the point of nor having to think about on a daily basis

Add the comorbidities expected and associated with Diabetes, any type, and it is not surprising that 1 in 4 (type 1) or 27% (type 2, not a whole lot of difference) have a higher risk for depression.
It may be nothing new but IMO any info that will help people understand this problem and feel affirmed and supported is a good thing.
