Diabetes and hot flushes

Hi I wonder if any other insulin dependent type 2 diabetics have frequent and unpleasant hot flushes//flashes/sweats.
I take metformin , insulin, pregablyn for peripheral neuropothy. Also morphine and co codimol for arthritic pain. I am also gluten intolerant and have myelodysplasia, platelet / blood cancer
Each of my Consultants says the hot flushes are not anything to do with their aspect of my ilness.
Mega frustration. Any ideas?

You dont say how old you are or what sex you identify as, so my suggestion of maybe menopausal or perimenopausal could be wide of the mark.

I get them when my bg is to high, but I suppose you already ruled that one out.
