Hi all,
I have found it harder and harder to get to a good ketone number on my ketosis stick. I must admit that I am not as active a when I used to follow that atkins strickly. I am concerned that as my diabetes (type 2) is getting worse that this affects that ketone process.
I used to drop into ketosis and go right to the 40-80 number very easily which for me means 2 pounds (american) a week weight loss. Now, when I do atkins I hover around the slight to 5 on the pee stick which equals 1 pound of wt loss every 2 to 3 weeks. (bad for morale for me)
Does anyone have any advice or comments regarding this???
Thanks and good luck to everyone with your weight and diebetes,
pleo
p.s. How much is a stone?? I see ppl talking about loosing stones instead of weight which I know is an old english weight system but how much does a "stone" weight, american pounds, please?
