Tomorrow is my diabetes anniversary. 13 years since I was diagnosed. Does anyone here do anything to mark the occasion. Would like to hear stories from others
 
Congratulations on your 13 year anniversary since you were diagnosed.!!!.Well Done,:-) It seems that you and I have been lucky in having such luck in being able to continue our quest in coping with Diabetes. I also have been very lucky since I was diagnosed with type 1 when I was 19 years old. That was 46 years ago. I don't celebrate .Just thankful .!!!
 
Hey I celebrate each year I am 15 now. I celebrate like a birthday as I see it as the day I was told I could feel better again what about you?
 
Celebrating it made me feel weird. I would never thought of that, still won't. I don't think it is something good to remember. Good for you guys, still don't get the reason, though.
 
Hey it's ok we all go with our ds in different ways. For me I felt really bad so the day I was diagnosed I could finally feel well again. I was told another after I was very close to dying so each year I celebrate really being a live and having something that could be recognised and keep me living.
 
I don't really celebrate my diabetes anniversary. Mines a week after my birthday so I'm all celebrated out by then haha! 17 years since my diagnosis and still going strong
