Hi@the-mental-one So glad you found it works for you I too can’t take a lot of protein has 4 years ago it caused gout in my foot very painful, I try and limit protein to one main meal a day and rely on dairy like cheese omelette and salads on side or one slice of wholemeal toast and butter, yogurt and berries for breakfast and small amounts of carbs main meals I have meat chicken. etc with half plate of vegetables those grown above ground are less carbs than those grown under ground. If your BG is getting too low have a snack I always Carry a banana or whatever you prefer to push up my BG if I feel a bit shaky or light headed has that’s when I know my BG is low, for me that’s in the 4s.. I prefer to be in the 5s or 6 but like all diabetics it catches us all out and we haven’t a reason for it you just have to adjust your diet to it when needed, lots of things up our BG stress, angziety family life it all throws us off track. None of us are saint’s we all fall off the wagon so to speak at times Diabetes catches us all off guard so don’t beat yourself up we all try our best and that’s all we can do. GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DIABETES. And you can keep in touch with me that’s fine. What a name you’ve given yourself you are funny. K It was Becca59 that gave me the Greek yogurt and berries breakfast so grateful to her, lots of people will help you on here just post your questions someone will pick up. K
