I started eating a little snack in the morning if I'm feeling odd, I measured my BG when I was feeling weird around mid morning and discovered I was having dips down to 3 sometimes and then after having lunch I'd find I'd still be quite high before dinner (6s or 7s). So I'm now taking a metformin tablet at lunch with a possible snack needed mid afternoon too. I'll figure it out, it's most likely from the new metformin not being slow release.</p><p></p><p>I'm finding out other weird things this time round, maybe because I'm paying more attention to the other details, like my periods seem to effect my BG level; normally I'm at 5s before meals but I'm always at 6s before meals just before I start my period and often for the first few days I'm on.
