Hi, you've been T1 for about a year?
My advice is to try not to panic. The treatment available for T1s is genuinely better now than it was 50 years ago (when I was diagnosed) so the chances of complications for today's new T1s are much much less. Plus the treatments available are still improving.
It's normal to feel sad and frustrated sometimes but really T1 shouldn't stop you from living your life. Your levels are very unlikely to be perfect all the time and they don't have to be to live a long and healthy life. (Hopefully happy too.
