Diabetes can be an expesive Condition

Most likely because the NHS doesn't prescribe them, even though they are on the list of ones that can be. I think this is more down to Home Health than the NHS. However, the new TEE2 from Spirit Health are also cheap, with free accessories too, and some surgeries are now prescribing these. @Oldvatr had one offered to him.
Just to clarify/ I have started usimg the new Caresense Dual from Spirit Healthcare which is brand new on the market. It replaces my NEO meter and can measure ketones. Although it was not on the list of NHS apptoved meters, nonetheless it ticked all the boxes,so I am now supported with strips on scrip.

The SD Codefree seems to have a tendancy to read higher than other meters, as has been reported many times by others in other threads, and which is my own experience over the last 12 months.
