Diabetes does kill by ellen vdk

To vickiec,

I have read all you posts and am glad that you and your son have talked about things. I am relly happy that he has told you how he is feeling because no matter how old you are a diabetic will still want someone to listen when things go wrong and they dont like it anymore. He is a very lucky young man to have a mum like you who will always understand and be ready to help him.

This may have been his way of asserting control over himself and sort of saying 'diabetes cant control me' (if you see what i mean).

Anyway i am really happy that this worked out brilliantly for you and hopefully there won't be a lot of 'pieces to pick up' in future.

Good luck to him and you.

Josie

thanx for your letter josie and i have to say school is still a pain for him but he is great bms are normal and he continues to look after himself fingers crossed x vickie
