My blood giving has been a bit erratic over the last couple of years due to various health issues.
I was due to give some last month but had just started on metformin. I rang the blood transfusion service and explained my situation and they advised I skipped the session I was booked on and they would recall me when I was stable on the medication - after I'd been on the full dose for a month.
