Hi guys me again!

I have type 1 diabetes have been now for 8 years. I struggled a lot at the beginning not really accepting it but for the last few years i’ve been trying my best to get my sugar levels at a good range. I struggle a lot with this and am currently just trying to get my long acting and short acting insulin right. Some days i think i have got it but then it hits the evening and they will rise to 18mmo for no reason! Or i might they will drop rapidly out of no where so i’m constantly yo-yoing. Can anyone help on how i can manage this or try and get as stable as possibly?

Well diabetes always has surprises!
So assuming you have done a basal test.
Are you carb counting and adjusting doses?
When you say evening do you mean before or after dinner? Do you always see the same high each day? Can you test more during this time to see where the high is starting and perhaps head it off with a small correction?
