I have Diabetes Type 2 and was diagnosed in April 2016 and live in Letyon, Walthamstow. Why is it that every GP in this country seems to be concentrating on Management and Control of Diabetes rather than Reversal? Does it not make sense to spend money on helping people reverse their diabetes. Also, I went to a Diabetes Education Course today which was very good, however, everyone in the room said they got a gym voucher from their GP, I phoned my GP to find out about it and they said they don't offer that service and know nothing about it. Where is Equal Opportunities? There needs to be an equal practice across the whole of GP's.
I am seriously thinking about doing a petition to help people get the right service we all need from our GP.
diabetes.co.uk is the only thing not only gives you the Diabetic testing kit for free but has outstanding information on the website that can help us. Even the testing kit is not free from the GP. This should be automatically free from you GP so you can review and manage your blood levels.

Hi,
& welcome.
What was the curriculum of the "education course" attended?
