BBC scaremongering again! I'm genuinely concerned that while there are obviously problems with the increasing numbers of people with all sorts of conditions, not just diabetes, not just obesity, but are the media being responsible in the way they report it.

The recent Panorama program was a classic example, along with the type of headlines seen on the Daily Mail and The Express. What they're saying may not be inaccurate but doesn't tell the whole story and essentially they're missing out the good bits which show some signs of the population dealing with and beating the problems. But that's not such a good story is it?

Loathe though I am to praise the Daily Mail for anything.. they did have quite a lot on Moseley's blood sugar diet when the book came out.. (prob have shares in the publisher but hey)..Whilst personally I don't think its especially good ( too many carbs) it may have helped some folk.

And also not reflective of the <3% who are making a change.... (Being devil's advocate)
