I am having problems controlling my eating and I need some suggestions on what to do. I keep saying I am going to plan meals and count carbohydrates, but that last a very short period of time. If you have any suggestions, please let me know.

I focused on the foods I'd miss and found substitutes, EG cauliflower rice, 90 second bread made with ground almonds, and either halloumi fries or boiled then roasted kohlrabi,
I also thought about foods I can eat on a low-carb diet and celebrated putting cheese, butter, etc back in.

If you find planning hard maybe focus on a few meals you can eat?
My go-to meals are cheese for a snack, with a green salad plus an olive oil dressing if hungry, and either salmon or chicken with cauliflower and green veg followed by full-fat greek yogurt with a few berries. I know exactly how many carbs are in these meals so they are hassle free.

But if you are going to lower your carbs talk to your DN first as you may need to lower the dose to avoid hypos?

Please would you tell us what the trigger points are for you in abandoning your diet process? Then we can target our help. We all have different trigger points, and "know thyself" is the first major support in helping ourselves back to as good a health as we can manage. NO criticism here - we've all been through it, so are ideally qualified to help.
