Just wondering if anyone has splashed out on the diabetes uk cookbook ‘The low carb cookbook’. It seems very expensive at £32 and would love to know if it’s worth it.

To be honest I'd be unable to afford that book even if it were a tenner less! I just google new recipes and try them. If they are to my taste then I write them in a notebook. The problem with most cook books is that you end up making only two or three of the dishes and that works out sooo expensive!
I bought the Low Carb Diabetes Cook Book by By Dr David Cavan from Diabetes.co.uk (This site) about 5 years ago when I was low carbing and found it very useful. It cost £16.99 later reduced to about £15.00 but at present it appears to be out of stock.
I've also now got a stack of low carb recipes I've downloaded from various internet sites and printed out.
EDIT : I've just looked on Amazon and it's priced at £10.99.
I have more diabetic recipes sent to me by Diabetes Queensland every week by email than I can shake a stick at. There is a huge library of T 1 / 2 recipes at the NDSS website that are free to members.
I was going to buy the T2 recipe book by the CSIRO here in Australia, but seeing how many recipes I have got sent me, I did not purchase it.
I would really like to have a recipe book that is for one peson, as I live on my own, I did find these books but they ae for the US Market, it would be great to to have a vesion or the maket.

I did and it is good in that it has lots of recipes in lovely glossy colour.
It depends on what you are after I suppose. I also got the Low Carb Kickstarter (just reduced to £10 which also has recipes plus a bit more educational).
