Hi all,
Does anyone else on here vape?

Is there any connection between vaping and increasing blood sugars?

I do, and I haven't noticed any rise in blood sugars. When I was first diagnosed I worried that the VG liquid I vape would cause a spike, but no, it didn't happen.

How about you?
 
Brill. thank you. There has been a spike today and just started vaping so wondered if it was that but must just be the usual random spikes. thanks for replying

Hello @LDSmith,

For your information, there is no such thing as a "random spike". There are always causes: incorrectly set basal, illness, stress, insulin that has lost potency, injection site issues, etc.

Although the above does not relate directly to your "vape" concerns - it may well do you good do have a look through the past forum threads to see what can actually case a BG spike:)
