Diabetic and having children???

So i am a male and have been a diabetic for 3 years now. I have been told that i may not be able to have kids in the future if I'm not careful with my diabetes. I would like to know if that really is true or not because it has been worrying me lately because i know one day i would like to have kids!

Never heard that before. I know women need to control their bg if they want to have babies - did you see the article about the Indonesian woman who had a 19lb baby cos her bg was very high? Ouch!
Maybe they mean the risk of developing erectile dysfunction?
Either way, you still need to try your best to control your diabetes
