There is indeed an attachment that converts a smartphone into a bgl meter Feed it strips like any other regular glucometer, Don't know how reliable it is but it is new on the market, Seek under tradename MyDario
 
Type II "doesn't count when you do it to yourself". Yep he's a comedian alright, AKA a wind up merchant. Still funny though. Amusing from somebody who lost 6 stone in 2 years. Or said a different way, somebody who was 6 stone heavier.

Never heard of MyDario. All I want my phone to do is, phone people, text and whatsapp, that's it. I have a second hand Samsung Galaxy S 111 mini, my daughter thinks it is so old :rolleyes:

True, but I decided to interpret that bit as sarcasm, because no diabetic can say that about other diabetics and really mean it, right?
Anyway, I dare you to watch the first bits of Ricky Gervais' show Science. I haven't really enjoyed him since.

Whatsapp is handy and it is free, except trying to call someone as the reception is so poor. Then some star emoji's appear at the bottom after the call asking you to rate the call, all I have used is the number 1 :rolleyes:
 
I think as a fellow Nokia user, I can say that it will not run this App, nor will it work with MyDario either, Us steam radio dinosaurs will need to upgrade if we want these benefits.
