that Twitter link you post says no stats for normal diabetic levels, well if 72.5% exceed 48, then 27.5% are below and therefore not T2, understand of course that this in prediabetes so not the full picture.
Also, are saying nearly 70% of T2 are under 7.5, for NICE guidelines that’s something they might see as a successful statistic, would be interesting to compare more recent to potentially draw some conclusion on impact of advice. A few figures here doesn’t allow for much analysis or conclusion.
whilst low carb arguments are possible, this link and trying to build an argument around it feels rather weak to me
