I guess only one needle is under my arm, the left and the other my hand. Mmm, now IS the yarn around my index finger or not....nope, don't think it is. Just had to mime myself knitting to work that one outnope. Never done it like that. Sounds really strange to me lol. I hold the needles in my hands, the way my grandmother taught me, with the wool wrapped around my index finger.
No, never seen arm knitting. - Don't your boobs get in the way??

I did try knitting once with my mum and sisters lol. I might restart it and put another craft under my belt.
Me too but we still have to use our fingers to hold the ends, put the needlepoint in the the next stitch and wrap the wool around....I really can't think of any other way very puzzling

Yes it does Lizzie. I think the key is really looking at your body shape because the adjustments you make will be aimed at getting similar results time on time.
Lol, it would take about 6 weeks to make one in my size! ...and it would have to have sleeves. Lol
What's arm knitting??
I've never heard of "arm knitting" can you explain it please?
Is arm knitting when you tuck the needles under your arms rather than holding them in your hands? That's the way I have always knitted.
They'd be VERY big stitches....gives a whole new meaning to tying yourself in knotsUsing arms as needles
Honestly though I may have to start doing it. Thai lion air stopped me from knitting saying it will harm other passengers. The flight was rather empty there was no one next to me or even across the aisle so I guess my 5.5mm circular bamboo needles could explode and harm passengers two seats in front.
Thanks for the link. Don't thi k I'll be trying it but interesting to know about. My fingers would've had enough after casting on......
How on earth can knitting harm anyoneHonestly though I may have to start doing it. Thai lion air stopped me from knitting saying it will harm other passengers. And how would you ever put it down?
