Not to mention that you'd never be able to get a consistent tension since everyone's arms are different diameters. I think I prefer my needles.....
Me too....I can put the knitting down when I need the loo using needles

Found a more reliable knitting pattern for a baby blanket.

Just finished a pair of booties (need to sew the second, but all the knitting is done)

Those are nice. Love the blanket. Was just thinking of doing some more of mine. Peeshing down so can't take dogs out.

The big picture has come out totally the wrong colour and the top one is sideways

That looks good too.

I was lucky. I found this
in the works recently. The sale price was right down to 1.50.

Very much worth the money

Indeed, and combined with buying my wool in poundland, and my steal with the knitting needles, I'm able to knit affordably. Wish I could do the same with my sewing lol.... But then I have sewing projects on the go also.

Question: do they look good enough to sell?

I'd say so. Trouble is finding someone who is willing to pay both the cost of time as well as materials...

I agree. My obsessive compulsive self would be screaming incessantly throughout the one hour, I'm sure. Half the fun in knitting is seeing perfect little loops appearing over and over again, to reassure one that the world may be crazy but at least the loops aren't. It's daily therapy.

Hmmm my knitting is not quite so uniform, I learnt as a teenager but never excelled. Too much at a time makes my fingers ache, so it takes double the time for me to knit anything, and I still make a few mistakes here and there lol.

I don't think hand knitting is ever fully uniform and that's the nice thing about it.
I. The same with my fingers that's why I don't use anything less than double knit thickness these days .. and I've not used my knitting machine for nor years than I care to remember..
Everyone makes mistakes but it's very rare they actually show too much....
I think it's the Tibetans deliberately do a stich wrong when they make their rugs cos only Buddha can be prfect

Busy dress making again. We are going to a formal 'do' in Lytham St Anne's in a couple of weeks. Am making a black lace dress which has a cream satin bodice under the lace. Looking okay so far.

Lowther Pavilion?
You must show us a piccy when it's done

No, in a marquee at the cricket club across the road! It's part of the fundraising efforts for a new clubhouse . We have been to many things at Lowther over the years though.

Hope it's a fine evening for the event and lots of money raised. You'll be belle of the ball... dress sounds stunning

First time I baked a cake after you know when and I was so happy that the pressure fryer could bake that I forgot for a moment I was sick and had a piece of the cake. Shot up to 15.5. Hohoho.
