Me too....I can put the knitting down when I need the loo using needlesNot to mention that you'd never be able to get a consistent tension since everyone's arms are different diameters. I think I prefer my needles.....
Those are nice. Love the blanket. Was just thinking of doing some more of mine. Peeshing down so can't take dogs out.
Found a more reliable knitting pattern for a baby blanket.
Just finished a pair of booties (need to sew the second, but all the knitting is done)

The big picture has come out totally the wrong colour
Very much worth the moneyThat looks good too.
I was lucky. I found thisin the works recently. The sale price was right down to 1.50.

Lol, I'm surprised you were allowed to take the needles on the plane in the first place!
I'd say so. Trouble is finding someone who is willing to pay both the cost of time as well as materials...Indeed, and combined with buying my wool in poundland, and my steal with the knitting needles, I'm able to knit affordably. Wish I could do the same with my sewing lol.... But then I have sewing projects on the go also.
Question: do they look good enough to sell?
You don't look old enough to have been knitting 28 years.....This year alone I've taken 40 flights and been doing knitting for the past 28 years on flight. Never been stopped. Even with metal needles.
Not to mention that you'd never be able to get a consistent tension since everyone's arms are different diameters. I think I prefer my needles.....
I agree. My obsessive compulsive self would be screaming incessantly throughout the one hour, I'm sure. Half the fun in knitting is seeing perfect little loops appearing over and over again, to reassure one that the world may be crazy but at least the loops aren't. It's daily therapy.
I don't think hand knitting is ever fully uniform and that's the nice thing about it.Hmmm my knitting is not quite so uniform, I learnt as a teenager but never excelled. Too much at a time makes my fingers ache, so it takes double the time for me to knit anything, and I still make a few mistakes here and there lol.
Nah, can get those uneven tooThe solution to uneven hand knitting loops ---- hand crochet. Tada!

Lowther Pavilion?Busy dress making again. We are going to a formal 'do' in Lytham St Anne's in a couple of weeks. Am making a black lace dress which has a cream satin bodice under the lace. Looking okay so far.
Hope it's a fine evening for the event and lots of money raised. You'll be belle of the ball... dress sounds stunningNo, in a marquee at the cricket club across the road! It's part of the fundraising efforts for a new clubhouse . We have been to many things at Lowther over the years though.
