A dog bed using machine that didn't come out quite right so got turned into a dish cloth to cut losses.

@Molly56 just tagging you into this craft thread so you can show the bags on here too
@Sable_Jan ..thanks for tag....am just posting pictures on this thread too....apologies to any who have seen them on the other thread...
...thinking of revisiting my bag making project....
.
...all made from recycled jeans / trousers or other recycled materials (duvet covers / shirts).....all fully lined....
....just need to find a market or suitable outlet....:bag::)

They are really nice. I particularly like the top one. It is difficult to find an outlet. My sister makes amazing Eco dyed scarves and sells through a local shop where you either pay rent for a bit of space or work a day in the shop. She has recently started to do craft fairs and has been invited to sell via a craft cooperative in Leeds. She trades as echoes of Nature ( I'm not selling by the way!) I think that you generally get a better price if you sell via a shop

IMG_1418 (3).JPG I'm so impressed with all you clever people, such an inspiring and diverse pool of talent. I have just started making my christmas cards after teaching myself to crochet watching you tube videos. I have since become addicted and have learnt to read patterns, it's come quite late in life but great fun. I love this thread by the way.

Those are lovely. Hadn't realised until I read the post they were crochet snowflakes.....very delicate, I'm DK upwards these days....fingers couldn't cope now. Although I've never done crochet lace....
Forgot to add "we're never too old to learn.."

Quite excited. Have bought a dress form on eBay and it has just arrived. The challenge now is to make it the same shape as me!

Not so sure I would want to see MY shape in front of me
Hope it's easy enough to set up

It's only since I started going in rather than out in the middle that I decided it would be a good idea! I am not quite at the top of the size range but the idea is it will get smaller with me.

Afraid I still more of a barrel shape than an hour glass.....even as a size ten many moons ago I had a size 12 waist.....

....stitched this picture for my aunt many years ago....she used to have spaniels and worked at a kennels / stud with horses.....just trying to clean it up a bit as got it back when my aunt died a few years back...she was a smoker so smells a bit at the moment but hope a gentle wash and some fabric deodoriser will help to freshen it up....is nice to keep as a memory...:)

It's gorgeous
Was it from a picture or pre-printed canvas?

@Sable_Jan ...Was from a printed chart onto a plain canvas....in fact I can safely say that it is probably the most horrendous chart I have had to work from to date....see attached picture and you will understand why....

....thankfully the more modern charts are better colour coded and gridded .....had forgotten how bad this one was until I found the chart the other day....
....the chart shows the dogs head on the right of the picture....the rest of the chart is equally bad if not worse!!....
