Love it

Is it about trials? My kids are going to be involved in a trial to assess whether they are likely to develop type 1, and if the results shows they are, there are trials of vaccinations that may prevent development...wonder if its referring to that?

I'll find out exactly what's involved and post it here. It's a trial that is being advertised by the jonas brother who has diabetes, but it's a uk trial.

Ok, the Mail article seems to be positive news but still far from being used on humans. :)

The Express article confuses me though. Lyxumia is used to help control BG levels for people on insulin who's BG levels are not being controlled. I assume, as the article does not mention T1, that this would also apply to T1's as well as T2's on insulin?

Now, I have to admit some ignorance on T2 treatment here so please forgive me...........would a T2 using insulin only use insulin or already use it in combination with another drug?

The point I'm leading to is whether you are T1 or T2 and insulin dependant, this seems to be a quick fix rather than teaching people how to control BG levels??????

Not to say that I am knocking a quick fix if it brings more people into a healthy range and reduced complications but is it false economy?
