since my diagnosis in 2016 I have been keeping track of consumed meals (carb counting for the bolus shots) the actual bolus and basal shots, and of course the BG readings.
And at no time has my doctor actually asked to see that data. When he wants to know how I am doing he orders blood work and gets the data from the lab. I do all the work of recording this data mostly for myself (OCD) so I can make insulin unit decisions from real data rather than a wild guess or conforming to a pattern. So the fat that the doctor has not asked to see it should not bother me.
But it does a little. Both the Libre 2 I used to use and now the Dexcom G7 has a method of automatically sharing collected data. Does anyone's doctor ask to see it or do they ignore it like mine does?
