Hi Christina

Do you get your annual foot checks from your diabetic nurse (or whoever)? You should be checked for lack of sensation in your feet at your regular checks, which is one of the first indicators.

I don't have diabetic neuropathy, but I do have numbness and pins at needles in different places from time-to-time from other problems. I'd read around - there's a section on diabetic neuropathy on this site. Don't alarm yourself, and if in doubt, ask your doctor.

If you've got your BG levels under control you shouldn't have much to worry about, but it's one of those things we need to be aware of. :D

Good advice from Viv, get your feet checked.
