I have just taken my insulin just now and have noticed that I hold my breath as I do it and I do it every time when I think about it

anyone else have any quirky habits?

Haha, I hum when I do it. Or swear when doing it and it hurts.

No idea why, but whenever I inject, I out the needle into my leg or wherever and have to rotate it 360 degrees. Weird. But at least I am in good company ;)

I'm bad I close my eyes on a bad day to do it as hate needles.

I tried closing my eyes when I first started.... I hit the cat twice, the sofa once and nearly once got completely the wrong place and nearly stuck a needle where a needle certainly has no place in going!!

To make sure I keep me eyes open now, I use a staple gun to keep them open!

Was joking aboutt the cat btw!!

Steve that just had me in stitches at my desk at work
thanks for that lol.

STITCHES!!!!

now why didnt I think of that, got to be better then a staple gun??

I always make a popping noise when I pull the needle out!

...........how big are the needles

Lol, only 4mm, but it always makes me laugh, my kids used to think it was actually removing the syringe that made the "pop" so it made me (and them) laugh. They are 21 and 25 now and no longer fooled by it. But it was fun while it lasted, trouble is, it's a well formed habit now, when I inject in public, which is a frequent occurrence I have to make a real effort to keep quiet. Lol
