Diabetic Retinopathy

As many diabetics suffer from this it may be a good idea to change your "type the code shown" system when registering to something that is easier to read. I have perfect eyesight at present and it took me 4 times to get it right! Just a thought

I'm only speaking for myself but as someone who has had laser treatment in both eyes to cure retinopathy leakage issues, I had no issue with the registration process....or maybe I just got lucky.

Ali :)

Yeah I can see it fine.
I'm pretty blind. Glasses help a little. I'm 24 and have had laser sugery 7 times. Despite maintaining an A1C of 6, my left eye continues to act out of control. At the moment I have a huge bleed and am awaiting more laser in a couple weeks. But there's so much laser been done that there's no space for any more.. very little if any. I'm absolutely praying that I don't need a virtrectomy.

Anyway, sorry for ranting here!
Linda
