Diabetic type 2

I'm a 24 year old female and I've recently been diagnosed with type 2 and I'm on metformin x1 a day.

I also have another problem regarding my periods. They're all the time! I've been booked in for a scan to find out what the problem is. I wanted to ask if anyone else has this problem? Or what it could be?

Whilst family and friends offer support I still feel really alone and scared.
 
@Loobydoo could I suggest that you add PCOS to your thread title? I don't have any personal experience of this myself but I remember reading threads where posterts had similar symptoms tyo yours and they may be able to help. Or you could search under pcos on the forum? Good luck!
