I was diagnosed with diabetics 1 year ago. I am on diet and physical workout. I also have knee pains because of which I cannot perform running, so I chose swimming alonwith gym workout. Yesterday I am diagnosed with Bells palsy and I am on steroids for another 10 days.

I am little confused now, To control my diabetes, if it is ok to continue with the gym workout and swimming with this Bells palsy or do I need to wait for 3 weeks until this Bells palsy gets settled(which happens for the majority of the cases). This is the 3rd occurence of Bells palsy to me. 2nd time I was cured in just 2 weeks, though first time it went on for 6 months.

so are you asking how to maintain your exercise, which i assume forms part of your diabetic control....?

from what i have heard from a colleague who had it you would need to take it easy i think, mild activity should be sufficient though, like walks etc....

is you current gym activity making a significant difference to the diabetes? can your diet not do most of the work?

as i say, the details of bells palsy is unknown to me, so i wouldn't know what levels of activity would be comfortable...
