Should have listened to you. Will go back to dental surgeon monday first thing. No fever, no difference in bg so it shouldn't be too bad. It shouldn't hurt this much still either, though.Honestly, though. Don't be overly brave with it
Sitting out a hypo and hoping half of my dinner doesn't wither or burn in the oven while the other half doesn't get cooked because I'm sitting out the hypo. Don't you love diabetes?

Was doing a dinner full of carbs for a change (hey, I'm on insulin, so I should be able to manage), but it looks like it's going to be something other than planned as I don't think the oven part will still be edible.
Sounds like a hassle. Not only having to inject myself, but my socks as well, and 3 pairs at that. Do they come with a ratio or are they on fixed doses?diabetic (sic) socks 3 pairs for £10!!
No, I believe they low carb - lots of cheese anywaySounds like a hassle. Not only having to inject myself, but my socks as well, and 3 pairs at that. Do they come with a ratio or are they on fixed doses?
Sweet dreams everyone, and bonkers is the new cool!I have come to the conclusion, after much research, that some of you are totally Bonkers. Good night all, sleep well.
Ouch I guess it’s because there are some things that we can only learn from our mistakes and own experiences. Perhaps someone should start a ‘Learning from experience’ thread!!Another bit of free advice before turning off the light .
No matter how badly you need to know what happens next in your book, keep at least half an eye on the pen-needle cover when trying to screw it back on after injecting. If you don't ,you might
A: shout and scare the dogs out of bed so you have to try to coax them back in. Never mind the cats, they won't be coming back until morning.
B: produce enough finger-tip blood for 3 days worth of testing, which won't do you any good as it doesn't keep.
C: splatter the screen of your e-reader, preventing you to know what happens next and causing you to get out of bed to clean it and becoming so much awake that you'll postpone turning off the light for another half hour.
Why don't they teach you this stuff on diagnosis ?
I couldn’t agree more, T1’s &2’s should be able to communicate together.
I am a T2, and am currently trying to get my sugar levels back into the ‘normal’ range.
It’s nice to be able to see how others are coping and learning from past mistakes.
Yeah, but I bet you love us all dearly.........I have come to the conclusion, after much research, that some of you are totally Bonkers. Good night all, sleep well.
