I can only deduce 21 SD
I'm surprised you could even google pruimenstrudel, as strudel is a German word, but pruimen (Dutch for plums) would be pflaumen in German. We in Holland don't use the word strudel, except in apfelstrudel but there we use the German word for apple as well. My old neighbour is originally German but has lived outside of Germany since the war, first in America, and now for a long time in the Netherlands. I think that explains her easy use of multiple languages in one word@Antje77 I had to look up pruimen strudel, then clicked on your profile to find out where you are but I think by the time I had got there it would all be gone.![]()

I had a significant birthday recently.........my daughter......bless her......sent me a card wishing me a "Happy 21st Birthday Mum".........you may find this unusual but as she runs a laboratory she only works in Celsius........you can work it out with a thermometer if you really want to.......but I really appreciated the thought...................

But if you come by, I'll be happy to ask her to bake another pruimenstrudel for us! This is the first time I have tasted something she baked that didn't either taste like cardboard, nor was burnt or half raw, so I won't mind her repeating this.
