I'm right down the bottom of Oz @Cumberland In that little island called Tasmania. Happy to brighten anyone's day. Hope your night is going as well as our day. Which is about 9.30 am at the mo.:singing:. Time to think about breakfast i suppose, as we all must eat.:playful:

Our very own forum Tasmanian Devil although I’m sure in reality you are an angel

Have relatives living in Adelaide

I think my cat, Kareltje, died today.

He's been living with me for a little over a year. I haven't seen him all day, and the neighbours came over to ask if my cats were at home, as they had buried what they thought was their own cat, but their cat turned up shortly after the burial.

Sometimes life just sucks and I hate speeding cars.

Thanks for the hugs, folks, can definitely use them.
I do hope it's not your cat. I know how painful a sudden loss like that can be we are still desolated by the loss of our pet dog on Saturday my grandson is totally bereft as she was his shadow and constant companion and had been for almost ten years careless drivers are a curse. Though Sox had a liver cancer which was totally symptom-less in till a few days before.

So I am praying your pet will turn up wondering what all the fuss is about. Lots of hugs

Thanks John. Losing a cat really sucks, but losing a dog is something I don't even want to think about. I have 3 dogs (or more accurately, 3 dogs have me. Neatly wound around their paws ), but the oldest one is also the first dog I've ever had. Nearly lost him last year and the 3 days he was fighting for his life were 3 of the hardest days of my life, and that includes losing my parents.

I wish you and your grandson all the best in healing and getting used to life without your dog.

Sadly, it seems like it is my cat. Haven't seen him all day and there are not many gingers around here.

I'm still hoping buried cat was a stray and yours has run off because of being in vicinity. Fingers tightly crossed hun. Xxx
