Diabetics R Us

I wasn't even out in the garden earlier. I was lying on the lounge floor looking at an upside down label on the underside of a reclining settee, checking it is a fire label. My blasted knee locked. Fortunately I now have the knack of unlocking it quickly or I could have been there sometime. :arghh:
I could have nipped over with an allan key

Sorry, but that amused me! Not your knee locking but the fact that you lying on the floor looking at the underside of a reclining settee. Have you ever considered something a bit safer as a hobby?

LOL. It is going to a charity shop when we move house and they need a fire label before they will take it. Otherwise I would not have been doing it. Method in my madness. ;) Or maybe too much sun.

Not ALL ! :). Remember that the globe spins and rotates around the sun, and at any given time half the world is in night, the other in day. And the internet is global.

Well, I'm off to bed so I'm saying Nighty night :)

In any field of endevour when it comes to a critical mass of information, feeling etc there are 'Lumpers' and 'Splitters'.
These two terms have been used much in the past - they have no derogatory meaning or usage.
Lumpers have a propensity to keep everything together no matter the size or complexity involved,
Splitters wish to divide things up to try to make things easier to find ect but risk not retaining all connections.
These opposing views are two ends of the spectrum with people usually falling somewhere in between.
Looking at it from a more relational viewpoint: (the marriage) - people's ideas, opinions, preferences for things may change over time as do their needs. Marriage is hard work, it is a process that takes time, commitment, forgiveness and flexibility, give and take.
So can we have Type 2 and Type 1 'currents' within the river without creating too much turbulence? But in terms of experience and opinion, would no discussion, controversy or debate stifle progress ?
Can participants from all walks of life live in/on this site harmoniously? And how can we steer dispute into something productive?
YES -
If we ensure mutual respect and respectful behaviour (not easy because we all have varying degrees of tolerance).
If we agree to disagree on some things but maintain standards about how we regard others' feelings.
Just as we refrain from expletives (well, fully spelled out ones!) etc.
There are guidelines for behaviour on site. Do they need any improvement ?

Good morning friends
Sun all the way
Hope it’s shining for you in your part of the country

Have a good day peeps

The sun has almost burnt off the haze now and it is promising another nice day and it gave me a chance to water both gardens so it wasn't all bad. I love wayering, I find it therapeutic until I need a tinkle myself.

The gardens sure do need watering. I tend to do it before tea in the evening. No doubt there will be a hose pipe ban before long if this weather continues. Ironic after all the floods the country experienced. My large and beautiful hydrangea bush was wilting yesterday so it got several bucket fulls. It seems OK this morning, but next week it won't be my problem. I will be sad to leave it.

Good luck with the move Daf..
