Diabetics R Us

I am up to my eyeballs in dust, bits of insulation, dirty boxes, unwanted things that were packed away in one of our attics. That attic now empty, but stuff all over the place. Not to mention all the other bin bags and boxes freshly packed taking up several rooms. The other attic to be attacked today but that won't be as bad as it is clean, boarded ready for conversion should anyone want to convert it. This really is a major operation.

Contracts only got exchanged yesterday after very stressful time waiting for it to happen, and we have to be out by lunch time in 5 days. More stuff for the skip, more for the charity shops, more for the auction rooms.

Our nearest skip tip was closed and now they have built houses on the land so if we go to the next nearest one and it is full I know who to blame !! Hope things go smoothly for your move

My elest has been messaging me all morning with questions like how is the manual wheelchair looking lately? (Not good, says I, full of cobwebs and two flat tyres) and was I interested in a foldaway mobility scooter at all?
Why do you ask? says I, oh no reason. Later on, are you well? up for a visit? Much later, I'm bringing the tribe and some plants and we are going for a day out. Make sure you rest, eat summat int' morning but lunch will be out. Where are we going! I ask. It's a surprise, says he.

It's been about three years since I had a day out (18 years since I had a holiday) and to say I am a bit excited would be an understatement :)

Aww, hope you have a really good afternoon out, perhaps on new wheels. :) First of many more maybe?

I don’t envy you but this time next week it’ll all be done and dusted

Wonderful Guzzler
Too right you should be excited

My boss's wife is a dentist and apparently teeth are only designed to last 40 years! We're living too long I guess

How interesting didn’t know that

Well I’m 54 soon to be 55 so some of my gnashers have or soon will be saying goodbye

Aye, the teasing is unmerciful.
Would you like to borrow my waders?

I didn't know that either. I think my teeth will out live me. The dental hygienist (now called a dental therapist for some reason) said I have 31 of my original 32 teeth, and I am 70, so I haven't done too bad so far.
