Diabetics R Us

Well, the excitement is rising, off for the weekend early doors tomorrow. All the palaver sorted by my eldest so all that is left to do is to try and get some decent sleep (no chance of that, I've always run on fumes when I'm happy). One last decision to make, do I take my testing kit or become an annonymous T2 for the weekend? Ooh! I just can't wait :D
Have a lovely weekend

Evenin' all

Well I've survived my busy week at work and I'm enjoying my first glass of wine since Sunday.

Tomorrow we are going to take the motorhome to Canterbury park & ride where the progressive City Council allow motorhomes to park overnight so for £3.50 we can park and get the bus into the city. We can have a drink and a meal then bus back to the motorhome to stay the night :)

Have we seen pictures of your motor home already? I can't remember, but I'm pretty curious. Could very well be you've posted some and I haven't remembered, so no offence please.

And again. Why can't I remember I shouldn't keep reading my book when putting the cap back on the needle after injecting. It shouldn't be so difficult to switch my focus from book to needle for the half second it takes to put the cap back on.
Not much harm done, luckily, only a hearty curse and a bit of a sore thumb.
I'm an idiot but at least I know it.

Heavy rain here on the Northumberland coast, with wind. We have been marooned in our holiday cottage all day so far. Even my little dog won't go out in the garden. However, we have decided to go out for lunch. There is a dog friendly fish and chip shop in town with excellent reviews, so that is where we will head. Naughty, I know, but this is the last day of our holiday so don't care! I will be reasonably good and scrape the batter off the fish.
Are there cat friendly fish and chip shops in the UK too?

I always try to look on the positive side and say, ah! more blood for a test with the glucose meter !! Commiserations !

G'Morning all !! Another sunny Saturday in Adelaide. Mint and parsley now in pots, watered with water from the fish tank - thank you fish for your offerings !! BSL in range - busy day ahead. Late night though with watching the second series of 'The Tunnel' on DVD.
I use a egg timer device, a plastic half egg-shaped device put in the saucepan with the egg and which indicates the state of the boiled egg from soft to hard boiled from the amount of change in colour. Works well for one egg at a time !!
Walk to the library to return DVDs so -20% basal for the exercise involved.
Good Wishes to you all.
Saying and Question: The sun never sets in some plant nurseries.
Thankfully it does in our children's rooms otherwise they might develop green skin.
But why does that not happen with adolescents using their mobiles and computers?
