Re Diabetictravel.co.uk
just some advice to those tempted to fill in one of their enquiry forms on line thinking they will cover you for an existing medical condition, such as their advertising implies (e.g. diabetes, hypertension)
I spent 10 minutes filling out their online forms (not the 2 minutes they suggested) and disclosed diabetes (I have just been diagnosed and started trying to control it by diet) and hypertension (controlled by 1 tablet + a statin and aspirin).
Getting to the 'quote' part they then say pre existing conditions not covered!!
They then suggest trying 'free spirit' (whats that name supposed to imply?) as they cover pre existing conditions. Another 10 minutes later after having filled out the exact same questions and getting the exact same answer, 'no cover offered'..... only this time they suggest applying for single trip insurance, not annual.
NO THANK YOU....
Dont waste your time with them. there are plenty others
