Hi, I am 19 and have been diabetic for nearly a year and a half (type 1), at first I was great with control etc, but now in the past months I can't seem to take my insulin.
I gained so much weight after diagnosis and I then saw a dietician to loose some but the weight lost stopped and now I loose weight by skipping my insulin. I haven't taken a whole day on injections in months. I am trying to get help from the psychology department but its taking awhile. They also mentioned a pump but I am scared I will gain weight again.
Is there anything I can do to try and get back on track? Not even shock tactics work anymore, I don't know what to do
Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.
