Welcome to the forum. I cried a lot when I was first diagnosed, sleepless nights and generally worried about the future.
Still only a few weeks on but the fantastic help and support I the site has helped me to feel positive about the future and to take the opportunity to make this the start of a whole new me.
It might help to make a list of the things you do like and then think about what you might be able to swap things for alternatives which are better for you, or to rebalance your meals. As an example if you were a fan of chilli and rice, you could have more chilli and skip the rice.
