Hello
I was diagnosed with Diabetes 2 early this year with a normal blood glucose level of upper 6 and spiking to 10 and sometimes 11 mmol/ltr before starting Diane Kress "The Diabetes miracle" book, and on my second week of stage 1, where no more than 5g Carbs are allowed for every meal at no longer than 5 hours interval for 8 weeks, before entering stage 2, which is more carbohydrate liberal.
With no previous exercise I am now doing 30 minutes a day on an exercise bike, and keeping to the guidelines
I initially missed my morning 2 slices of toast and milk in my tea, but have got over it now.
I would liked to hear from those that have tried this Diet and espescially any advice on Breakfast as I am getting a wee bit tired of egg, bacon. although I love them. and hamburgers and cheese in the morning. I have read of low carb bread, but here in Australia I have yet to come across any with anything like less than 5 grams
