Im type 2, managed with tablets and diet for 4 years. Think i have a tummy bug of sorts, diarrhea all afternoon. How do I go about managing my diabetes? Im trying to sip water but if seems to be running thru me, immodium not really helping either

Poor you. Have you ever been given a copy of sick day rules?
Try and keep fluids down and If you're finding it difficult to keep water down because you're vomiting or have diarrhoea, try drinking small amounts more frequently. You must try not to become dehydrated. Keep measuring your blood sugars If they become too high/low then get in touch with your G.P. Surgery (out of hours) or ring NHS 111.

Usually is someone is vomiting the rules are clear but there does not seem much about the diarrhoea.
PS Did the gastroparesis get sorted.
