Diasend software for animas

Hi, just wondering if anyone has had problems setting this up. I have downloaded everything, but my usb scanner doesn't seem to pick up my pump, the green light at the top flashes, but nothing happens and it keeps saying connect device on the screen. Anyone got any advice - thanks
 
have you suspended the pump?

It can be a bit of a pig to connect unfortunately. If you keep having problems call animas for a new wire
 
Do you have the correct cable for the windoze you are using?
 
I had very similar problems about a year ago (green light was on, but Diasend Uploader couldn't pick up the device).

I was directed to email [email protected] and got the problem sorted out with their help (involved reinstalling a driver, IIRC). Might be worth dropping them a line before getting a new cable?

I wasn't saying to get a new cable, was just enquiring to make sure it was the correct one. Animas had to issue a new cable eventually for windoze 8 and have been shipping this cable with all new pumps for a while now. So no idea if the cable works on previous windoze. Animas do provide the cables though free of charge.
 
I know you weren't CarbsRok - Engineer88 suggested that, though. :)
 
I only suggested that as I use Ios and had to have mine replaced as it stopped finding my pump
