I am so sorry to hear about your husband. Can't even begin to understand what you're going through. I'm afraid I didn't know him and I hope you manage to find some of the answers you are looking for. Take care. Emma x

So, so sorry that you are having to go through such an horrendous time.
If you click on your husbands username, you will see 'users posts'. Click on this and all the posts he made will be there, including the ones you have posted too.

Hey there!

So sorry to hear about your husband and what you are going through. I didn't know your husband, but I did read a couple of his posts in which he explained he was depressed and had stopped taking his insulin. Several forum members offered him support and encouraged him to go to his doctor.

I'm afraid that you probably won't find the answers you need here, but I hope you will take some comfort in the support people offered your husband. Sometimes there are no answers. Depression is an illness that distorts the sufferer's perception, thoughts and feelings. It makes them act out of character. There is no logic to it. I hope in time you can stop searching for answers and come to terms with what has happened.

I hope you find some peace of mind.

Take care.

I am very sorry to here about your husband.

In regards to post. He posted a couple of times about being depressed and not taking his insulin; this was at the start of February. He was encouraged by some members on the forum and said he had made an appointment with his doctor for the following week. He did later post that he had seen his doctor and was set to see a mental health professional and the diabetic nurse in relation to his diabetes control.. he sounded a lot more upbeat in that post.

I am not sure if the GP will divulge any information about your husband but they may be worth talking to.

Like everyone else, I am dreadfully sorry to hear of your tragic news.

I do hope that you are getting all the emotional and practical support that you so badly need in times like these, CRUSE bereavement care are very helpful, dont be ashamed to ask for help, you do need it.
