I did it for 3 people as well. Same logic as you - both of us dinner and next day lunch for me. They also have a lot of breakfast eggs. I checked with them and they said medium or large eggs but it was 3 scrambled for breakfast. So that's adding a lot of eggs. I cut it to 2 scrambled with some parsley and a couple of rashers of streaky bacon some days. You've probably seen that I'm thinking of dropping the hot lunch as I am mostly not hungry then. Some of the Recipes are still really good next day for a light lunch e.g. the pizza and the frittata was excellent second day as was the chilli salmon. Otherwise I 'm happy with something like a salad and a slice of cold meat. Hubby has started on the black coffee with the swirl of cream now - he is discovering this is actually quite tasty eating.
I agree. If it's mysterious get it checked. It will be good to get a definitive confirmation that it isn't anything nasty though!
I for one am pleased you are getting it checked out!
DD don't bother about a couple of rashers of bacon and it has no effect on my BG. It's not as if you are eating it every day. I'm probably about once a week. I must admit that if we paid attention to everything we're told is 'bad for us' I doubt we'd eat anything. The one I found difficult to come to terms with was the number of eggs but now I'm quite relaxed about it as my cholesterol is fine. It is certainly a different way of eating but one I enjoy.I am a little confused I thought bacon was processed meat and bad for us? I don't think that I will be eating too much bacon, maybe scrambled eggs and chicken
They're going to take a biopsy - just a little one - just waiting for the local anaesthetic to kick in.
DD fish n chips today was lush lush lush
However, think am experiencing carb flu - feel weak, lightheaded and not well but my bgs is fine....felt I needed an early night but after half hour lay there got back up and having a cup of tea despite feeling weary .....
Chook - If it's any consolation, my Mum had something similar several years ago, including the biopsy, which transpired to be like an age spot on her foot. On confirmation it was treated with liquid nitrogen or the like to remove it by cryotherapy. That was quite, quite pain free and the patch didn't rerappear.
Fingers crossed for you.
Sorry to be off-topic.
Thank youI'm not particularly worried about it. I've googled skin cancer and other skin nasties and haven't found anything that look like my foot thing - apart from craters on the moon. I've decided not to worry about it and wait until I get another appointment.
In the meantime.... I received stuff through the post the other day for testing for bowel cancer.... lovely! I'm assuming this is like a regular periodical check (maybe like cervical smear or breast screening)? Cos if it isn't I'm worried - I haven't had anything wrong with me that might indicate that kind of thing and I certainly haven't been to my GP for anything in 'that area'. Anyone else received this kind of thing - maybe its a random sample...?

Have you recently had a landmark birthday at all? As I understand it the stick test is sent out to all those of a certain age. If that is what you have received, it's all very routine.
'Lovely' is the operative word Chook - it takes nerves of steel to do it the first time around(or maybe a nose peg and airline paper bag at the ready, would be better ) After that, you can get as blase as you like, once you organise adequate time and privacy to do the dreaded deed.
I think it is part of routine screening as @DCUKMod suggests; and from memory you get the little cardboard peg things through the post every 3 years, similar to breast screening requests (except I guess blokes don't get those!)
They send you the results through the post in about a week or so - quite efficient in my area.
Best of luck - if you decide to do it
... and, once again when this subject rears its ugly head, I feel the need to express my deep disturbance that these samples wing their way, backwards and forwards, through the post...
other than that, I think the screening service is BRILL
As I've said before.....men!@maglil55 - I love it, just need to be careful with how much you eat because of the psyllium husk. Mr C made a pig of himself on it once and had 'repercussions' for a day or two after.I did tell him....... but would he listen......
