I am so, so very sorry that you are going through this and also had a horrible journey previously and lost faith too. I too have had a (different) journey, where I too lost all fairh in consultants and doctors...... It took my hubby to come with me to every appointment and a very good person to explain how docs/consultants think and react. If I said I was scared (which I was) instead of showing any anger (I was angry from having dreadful experiences) then I would get people like docs on my side. I am still scared (and angry at times) but I explain my fear and scared very, very precisely now. Akwaays with written prooftoo leave tge people to put on my file as a reminder! This advice has helped me enormously. Saying scared gets people to worrk with you, not against you. Anger or harsher tones in vouce does make people take flight... and not help fight with you... I know for my referral for 2nd gastro pperson, it helped that the gastro person arranged all the tests not fhe GP-. If you havent got a gastroenterologist referral yet, I do think its reasonable request to have a request put in. A gastro will ask for the maiority of tests to be done and then depending those will ask for the specific ones from those tests. It looks like you are having to go singularly one at a time. It would be a reasonable request to say to GP that you are scared and you reallywould appreciate a referral to a teritiary hospital gastroenterlogist as time is important in diiagnosing illnesses of the stomach and colon. Dist wise the specialists can only advise but it starts with you. You need to change immediately from weetabix if it makes you sick. Try yogurt. Dont try anything else with it. That way you know yogurt is ok (or not). Same with any food. Try a plain omelette with a dash of cheese if you have to. Dont go mixing foods too much. Even better if you could eat just boiled egg or poached... Will come back to you tomorrow with list of meds...
