I often repeat or batch cook, I cook everything from scratch and a lot of meal times I’m on my own so usually make double to do for a couple of days.

So today I’ve made Cauli mash, a chicken casserole and some sautéed leeks, hubby is home tonight so will share the casserole but I have enough sides to go with my gammon tomorrow.

If you low carb have a look in the what have you eaten today low carb thread here

Or google Diet Doctor, it’s mainly keto & low carb they have some good free weekly diet plans & recipes

I don’t repeat meals on a weekly basis, except for breakfast, every day I eat keto coconut ’porridge’, not real porridge but a porridge like breakfast made with coconut flour, egg, plus some other ingredients. I love it so have it every day with some chopped up strawberries.
i don’t eat lunch but eat protein bars as snacks with coffee.
Dinner I have maybe 25 - 30 meals which I rotate randomly, which I’ve tried and tested numerous times for the effect on my blood sugar. I only very occasionally try something new!
I agree with @lovinglife , check out the thread she has posted.

We cannot advise on doses and how to take medication, this is something your HCP or pharmacist can help you with.

The advice in the accompanying leaflet for Metformin is to take it with food, this is to mitigate the sometimes nasty side effects that some of us have. It doesn’t work on what you’ve eaten but is a build up drug to help with insulin resistance (thankfully I don’t suffer any side effects from taking Metformin) . I take Metformin and I don’t skip meals, I like my food too much ;) there’s no need to skip meals if you don’t want to.

Not on about skipping doses of medication I was on about ethier breakfast or dinner thanks anyway I will check with my doctors
