Difference between Libre and MiaoMiao2

Hi guys, I just bought MiaoMiao device to connect it with Libre Freestyle Sensor (classic 14 days one) and there is one thing that really surprised me - basically I used to use Libre once or twice and I know that it is delayed (and maybe not even 100% accurate) in comparison to blood test, but I spotted that there is a difference between Libre NFC app checks and MiaoMiao checks (I checked Tomato, Glimp and xDrip+ and they were rather consistent when Libre was showing ~10-20mg/dL less)

Did anyone have the same situation? Do you know why is this happening? I thought that both Libre and MiaoMiao are just checking Libre sensor with NFC without any additional logic and now I see that's not actually the case.

Also I have feeling that MiaoMiao apps are closer to "real" blood tests than Libre app. Unfortunately I cannot check my sensor with Libre reader (I own one actually) because I started the sensor with mobile app and it does not want to read it now - that's also quite strange

To be able to use both devices you need to start it off with the reader, and I think scan with the phone within the first hour (may depend on what phone app you're using - but suspect someone will be along shortly who will correct me if I'm wrong.

As for discrepancies with the differing apps, they all use slightly different algorithms to convert the raw libre data to BGs levels.
 
Thanks for explanation - I will start my next one with reader then (seems to be always better to have more than one option to scan :) )

Anyway - yup the algorithm is what I suspected but to be honest for me it's too big discrepancy - today's morning Libre was showing me 50 when MiaoMiao (and blood) ~70. The same I had at evening - Libre ~70 and MiaoMiao ~90 - it does really matter

This is surely already posted but...

I'm considering a miaomiao. I use libre1. The libre is good as reports ate automatically sent to my diabetes professionals but I guess with the miaomioa2 I'll have to manually download the data then manually email them?

Lastly, although I've read about, still confused..

Miaomiao2 I'll use xdrip+
I have my libre though, do I not bother at all with freestyle software? Uninstall? Then run libre sensor with miaomiao2 transmitter together with xdrip+ app that's it?
