Different blood sugar reading....exactly the same meal

How is it that I can eat exactly the same meals for 2 days running and on one day I'm between 4-7.8 and the next it's 8-10??

I'm really confused......any advice/ideas appreciated. Thanks.

It could be that you were more active one day than u were the other.. Or could be that you injected in the same place ect. Blood sugars are so confusing sometimes xx

Hi shazzle if it were only that easy lol. There are alot of factors that can affect levels including activity and if prolonged activity up to 48 hours later. Temperature, stress, injection sites to name a few more. All we can do is take an educated estimation and hope for what we expect.

You're generally looking for a trend over time rather than spot readings.
